childcare is a range of services, for example, kids carnival, face painting,
magic shows, event nannies to make sure the children at your event are well
looked after and have lots of fun too. Whether you’re planning a wedding,
christening, conference, family party, or fun day, our childcare service with
trained, experienced professionals will create a child-centered environment
resulting in happy children and happy parents.
When determining the number of caregivers needed for your event, keep in mind
the following ratios which, while not absolute, are helpful in the initial
planning process.
Infants/Babies (up to 2 Years old) 1:1 to 2:1
Toddlers (up to 3 years) 3:1
Pre-School (up to 5 years) 4 to 5:1
School Age (up to 16 years) 6 to 8:1

Types of event childcare
An event nanny
gives parents the flexibility of hiring a private nanny for that special
day. For a minimum of four hours your children can enjoy the benefits of a
Qualified, experienced, approved nanny to play with, entertain and look after
them.
Our event
nannies will arrive with a box full of exciting toys to entertain the children.
If you’d like us to, we can also provide specialist arts and crafts activities.
The event
nanny service is ideal for smaller groups of children less than 30 or family
bookings. For events involving 30 or more children and under 8, we would suggest
a Prince & Princesses Party.
A Prince & Princesses Party is a specialist service which offers the most flexible
childcare for Your special event. The concept is still fairly new, but it is a
great option to ensure peace of mind for parents, with the flexibility that they
will be able to visit the children at any time.
We will arrive
at the venue of your choice, to create a safe, creative, fun environment for
children aged 0 – 5 years old. For children 5 and up we can tailor a party for
them including WII, Magic and other age appropriate entertainment. We can
transform a room into an imaginative haven where children will love to be. We
will provide a full range of toys play equipment, and creative activities,
keeping them busy. But we will also have a chill-out space where they can calm
down during a long day, and a place to have meals and snacks too. Children over
8 will be considered when the PPP is booked depending on the staff to child
ratio we can arrange appropriate entertainment for these ages.
Event passes
To create a
safe and secure environment for the children, we have a check-in service for the
party. This means parents will need to complete a registration form before the
event with their family details and emergency contacts. Each child will then
have one event pass for their family to have access to them.
We will agree
special questions in advance so that only authorized adults can come to the
party. We find this system works well for all families and gives everyone peace
of mind.
Nannies
If your event
stretches into the night, we can also arrange evening nanny (after 7pm) offering
peace of mind so that parents can relax and enjoy the occasion. This can happen
at the family home or at the venue. A babysitter is often a nanny or nursery
nurse working in the childcare sector during the day, who can work extra hours
in the evenings or on weekends. Whichever childcare service you choose, you can
rest assured that your children will be getting the very best care and having
lots of fun too.

Party bags
We can offer
your guests pre-filled party bags to take home. This bespoke service means we
can source a gift or range of gifts suitable for your party or event budget.
Children’s entertainment
We can offer
traditional party entertainment such as a children’s magic show, close up magic
or balloon modeling. This service is very popular after the children have had
their lunch.
Balloons
Balloons are a
fantastic gift for children to take away after an event or wedding; balloons
include foil characters and latex balloons. Balloon arches,
clusters and other decorations are available on request.
